What you can expect renting with The Red House Company

Our prices are all inclusive of booking handling fees, management fee and include also credit card fee, PayPal commissions. Once you book our apartments you have a final price that will not have any additions unless you decide to purchase extra services that will be priced and charged only after your approval.

It is a separate payment and vary from €2.5 to €0,75 per person depending from the age, apartment and season. You pay only for the first 5 nights of your stay and all the extra nights, in case you stay longer in Venice are without tourist’s tax. This payment is to be made in cash upon check in and you will receive an electronic receipt from The Red House Company.
Laundry machine available and free of charge in every apartment.
Satellite TV is present in almost all our apartments have Satellite TV, mainly with a SKY contract; this allows you to see hundreds of channels in all languages and the news of your country from the sofa of our apartment.
All the apartments we manage have Wi-Fi and this service is always included in the price.

All the apartments we manage have an air-conditioning system and central heating. This service together with utilities such as gas, electricity, waste collection tax and water supply is always included in the price.
Linen and Towels.
All the apartments have a set of linen and towels for every guest included in the price. We also provide extra set on demand and the cost is of €20 per person. We can deliver this to the apartment prior your arrival or if requested during the check in bring it within 24hrs.

All our small guests under 4yrs old have a baby cot and high chair waiting for them in all our apartments, please remember to request it at the time of the booking or at least 3 days before arrival. If your child is under 12yrs old it does not count as extra person where there is the charge for it. This means that in some apartments we have extra costs for extra guests above a given number, if your child is under 12yrs old does not pay for it. Still remain that every apartment has a maximum number of guests allowed.

We will agree with you a month before your arrival the time of the check in and all the logistic needs of your party will be cleared in advance to allow you to get to the meeting point securely and stress free. The check in is free of charge between 15:00 and 20:00 and we arrange early check in, also free of charge, form 10:00am in order to allow you to start enjoying Venice as early as possible. However, if the apartment has been rented up to the same day of your arrival you will be checked in and given the keys of the flat, we will agree the time when you will be able to take full possession of the apartment.

We will book for you private road and water taxi to allow you to get fast and safely to the apartment. this service is free of charge.
Extended check in time. 
If you arrive after 20:00 and up to 24:00 we will arrange a late check in at a cost of €50 to €100 as per our T&C.
Free city map and pen. 
At the check in we provide our guests with a city map where we give all the directions, location of the apartment, supermarket, groceries and museums.

All the apartments are provided with at least 2 sets of keys, the large apartments have up to 4 available to our guests. This is because we understand that larger groups means often 3 different generations of travellers and therefore, at least 3 different agenda.
Valet Service.
All our guests are met at the meeting points in Venice but if you require a valet service directly from the airport, train station or car park to the flat, we provide this service and the costs vary from €40 to €100 depending on distance, number of guests and time of arrival. Request more info at: info@venietiam.com.

Our guests, once arrived in Venice, they can call us for any emergency at any time. We supply, at the check in, all the telephone numbers and mobile phones of the management to make sure you understand that even if you are renting a self-catering apartment we are always available to help in case of need.
Porter Service.
Upon request of our guests we can arrange a porter service, however, certain apartments that are on higher floors and without lift, the porter service is included in the price and provided by default at the check in and check out. We provide maid service upon request and this can be purchased before arrival by requesting it at: info@venietiam.com.
Food Package.
If you arrive late or very early in the morning and you need to have a breakfast, lunch or dinner in the apartment, we offer to all our guests a package that include all the basic supplies. Please visit our food package section.
Private Chef. 
In our web site, in a dedicated section, you will find all the details of this exciting opportunity. We partner with Trés Chef which is an important local company that provide a number of services to The Red House Company and other organizations such as the local sailing Club, The Biennale of Arts management and few more.

We have decided to partner with a specialized organization, Insidecom, to offer our guest the best in class of Venetian tours. In fact, you can enjoy the choice of about 108 tours and activities in Venice and surrounding countryside.
There are also several gondola, taxi and travel cards to purchase prior your arrival and enjoy a full comprehensive visit to Venice. In order to book them, you just need to go on the dedicated section Tours& Tickets.

PROCEDURE

This explain in few words the procedure of booking and what you can expect when staying in Venice with The Red House Company.
In order to book you need to fill the form in the BOOK NOW SECTION of the apartment of your choice and then proceed with the payment of 35% of the rent and the balance is due a month before arrival.
In case of bookings within the month from the arrival, the total amount is required in order to complete the reservation. About a week before arrival, it is required to pay the security deposit that varies from apartment to apartment due to size, number of bedding and quality of the furniture.
A month before arrival we also ask you to provide your arrival time and mean of transportation.
This will allow us to give you all the best options to reach the meeting point, which usually is at the nearest vaporetto stop or at the water entrance of the house depending from your transportation. At the check in we will exchange the document information in order to fill the declaration of presence for the local police station, we will take the tourist’s tax and issue the receipt, we will explain the house and try together the internet connection, TV set, air conditioning or heating (depending on the season) and explain the waste collection.
We will give you a map where we will point you the exact location of the apartment, the supermarkets and groceries, main amenities and answer to all your questions.
